YOU ARE GIVEN A GIFT
The gifts that we are given are unique and special to our character. These gifts are to be used for a special type of service to help others we ought not to be selfish. In order to attain that goal in the world, diverse gifts are needed. This is the reason why we as individuals are unique. Your gift is individual. Let us remember our gifts are a blessing, they are given to us so that we can edify others.
1 Peter 4:10-11New International Version (NIV)
10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. 11 If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
Such a timely message for me. I sometimes wonder how we become sure of our gifts, and if the gifts are hobbies or a means of income.

I believe that sometimes we can use or gifts for ministry and sometimes people can use it as a means of income. Take for example people are given the gifts of listening. They may be able to be good councillors. Singing can also be used as a gift that persons turn into a career.
