Fulfilling your Purpose according to God's Standard
Five Facts we need to know to fulfil your purpose.
1. Will
God keep His promises?
Numbers 23:19 NAS -- God is not human,
that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his
mind.
2. Do
you believe that there is a purpose for your life?
Job 42:2 NAS-- “I know that you
can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
Proverbs 20:5 NAS-- The purposes of a
person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out.
3. How
does one find their purpose?
Matthew 16:24-26 NIV -- 24 Then
Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny
themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For
whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their
life for me will find it. 26 What good will it be
for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone
give in exchange for their soul?
4. Is
everyone blessed with a gift?
1Peter 4:10 NIV -- 10 Each
of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as
faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
5. Does
life have value?
Jerimiah 29:11 NIV -- 11 For
I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to
prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
Ephesians 2:4-7 NIV-- 4 But
because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,5 made
us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace
you have been saved. 6 And God raised us up with
Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ
Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might
show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to
us in Christ Jesus.
The Lord and His purposes are
perfect, We are assailed by doubts and fears that many times keep us from
living out the purposes that He has established for us. However, we can
overcome this by consistently reading and studying His word so that our faith
will be made stronger day by day. As we learn of God and pray to Him regularly,
we become more embolden to accomplish great purposes in His name. Dowell (2017)
