Fulfilling your Purpose according to God's Standard



Five Facts we need to know to fulfil your purpose.


1.     Will God keep His promises?

Numbers 23:19 NAS -- God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind.

2.     Do you believe that there is a purpose for your life?

Job 42:2 NAS-- I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted.
Proverbs 20:5 NAS-- The purposes of a person’s heart are deep waters, but one who has insight draws them out.

3.     How does one find their purpose?

Matthew 16:24-26 NIV -- 24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it. 26 What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

 4.    Is everyone blessed with a gift?

1Peter 4:10­­ NIV -- 10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.

5.     Does life have value?

Jerimiah 29:11 NIV -- 11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.


Ephesians 2:4-7 NIV-- But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.



The Lord and His purposes are perfect, We are assailed by doubts and fears that many times keep us from living out the purposes that He has established for us. However, we can overcome this by consistently reading and studying His word so that our faith will be made stronger day by day. As we learn of God and pray to Him regularly, we become more embolden to accomplish great purposes in His name. Dowell (2017)
